Targated Employee
Working as the commission agent is also considered as a part of employment. The commi
ssion agent is usually paid the agreed percentage of the proceeds from each transaction concluded by him. However, such employees are not entitled for any other benefits like salary, bonus or leave allowance etc. In this condition the person is a free bird and gets commission only if he works but is not duty-bound.
If the person is employed as the ‘Commission Agent cum Retainer’ then only he gets the agreed fixed amount plus the percentage of sales proceeds as agreed upon as the commission. Here he may be allocated some sales target also. He is duty-bound towards hi company and required to attend the assigned duty hours anyway.
