Employee Conditions
There are specific employment arrangements in the State system like the employees could be emp
loyed on State Awards or Industrial agreements which are generally known as enterprise bargaining agreements or the employer – employee agreements.
State Awards: the pay and conditions of employment are set for typical group of employees that have resulted following the dialogues between employers and unions. Here the employees’ credentials must comply with the set norms of the job offered by the company in the award.
Industrial agreements: it permits employers and unions to consent on pay & conditions beyond the award requirements. In such cases the unions confers with the employer on behalf of the intended employee.
Employer-employee agreements: wherein the individual voluntary agreement is made between both the parties incorporating pay and conditions.
